- I want to make high quality products that everyone will be happy purchasing.
- I want my products to be unique.
- I want everyone to feel secure purchasing my products.
Hello everyone,This is my first post so if it isn’t quite up to par I’m sorry I hope to get better at it soon.I want to talk about some of my goals for Humble Tree LLC.
I am always learning new techniques to fix different issues that may arise. One problem that I had when I first started was the problem of warping, as you can see in the photo. This sign was supposed to be flat against the wall.
I found that by inlaying a another board in the back with the grain going in a different direction (90 degrees from the direction in the front the piece) causes the two boards to work against each other keeping them straight. This same technique is used in plywood. When you look at plywood from the side you can see there are different layers and each of those layers grain are going in the opposite direction of the one before it which causes the plywood to be for the most part straight.
Being an artist I want my products to be unique from all others even the within the items themselves. One piece will not be the same as the next piece, they may be similar but definitely different. That is why I offer different sizes and colors but the colors will be slightly different from each other.
When I put a finish on a piece I may use a stain like Walnut or Red Oak, which is stated in the description as an option that is available. Other times I may use a stain that I make myself which I will mention in the description as a self made stain and I will name it as a dark brown with red tint or something like that.
I want all my customers to be assured that my products are made with care and with the highest quality. If any item is ever damaged during shipping please notify me in an email at: larry@humbletreellc.com (please send pictures of the damage immediately) and I will make another one and send it to you free of charge. Rest assured that I take all precautions during the shipping process to keep from having any problems.
Thank you all,
Larry
